In the first video in the Ubisoft series, YouTuber Get_Flanked covered the essential changes on the Oregon map rework that went live with Operation Void Edge in Rainbow Six Siege.
And now he’s back with another video that highlights the biggest changes in the game now that the new Operation is here. There are some significant gameplay improvements that players should be aware of, as well as operator nerfs and buffs, and Get_Flanked does a great job visually demonstrating everything.
The changes that excited me the most as a R6S fan were the modifications made to drone spawn locations and control preferences. The semi-automatic option will help prevent my drone from getting shot when I’m in the midst of positioning it somewhere, and its proximity to the spawn location I select for my operator will help to assist in scouting out the locations I want to attack.
Also, the soft barricade debris fix is a godsend. Many deaths will be avenged with that visual fix.
