After getting picked up by publisher Asmodee Digital, the sci-fantasy game Dark Envoy by Event Horizon is getting a fresh life to release on PC and console in 2022. This Guns N’ Sorcery RPG is being developed so players can enjoy the adventure in either single-player or two-player co-op fashion. The game merges a rich, non-linear story and tactical, party-based combat with dynamic gameplay flow and high-quality visuals and effects.
Players embody Malakai and Kaela, two children of war refugees. They are living the day-to-day life of adventurers as they seek ancient relics and forgotten places. Soon they too will have to learn how to survive in the chaos of war, as blood and tragedy will mark the beginning of their true journey.
There is still quite a bit to learn about Dark Envoy as it continues its development, but they are aiming to release it on PC via Steam and GOG, along with on consoles, in 2022. What do you think of this dynamic, co-op optional action-adventure title?
