May 10th marked the release of Sumo Digital and Focus Home Interactive’s latest title, Hood: Outlaws & Legends. The PvPvE co-op heist style gameplay pits two 4-player teams against each other with one goal in mind; take the gold. Players can expect difficult gameplay that will force them to learn how to overcome obstacles from both the roaming NPCs and enemy players as they fight for riches. It’s quite an interesting game that definitely has a promising future ahead of it.
The game launched fairly bug-free which is quite refreshing to see. The dev team is also tapping into the community for feedback and is actively adjusting the game through updates based on what they’re getting back. I was lucky enough to be given a review copy of the game by Focus so be on the lookout for our review coming later this week. So far, I’m really enjoying myself and I love the fact that the game released in a fully functioning way. It’s kind of sad that we as players have gotten used to games releasing unfinished that when one releases normally, we get so excited about it.
Hood: Outlaws & Legends is out now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
