Jimmy Fallon got some hands on time with Super Mario Run and the Nintendo Switch during The Tonight Show last night and it was incredible! While Super Mario Run has been shown and looks to be just as fun as past footage we've seen, this is the first time we've seen a live demo of the Nintendo Switch in action.
Some impressions I had from the demo...
- The Switch tablet controller looks incredibly thin compared to the Wii-U gamepad.
- Frame-Rate looks marvelous when playing on the touch pad. At first I thought this might be due to the fact it's so close to the dock...but then I remembered all the hardware is in the tablet.
- Joycon controller looks pretty comfy.
Overall I liked what I saw, although I'm sure if you read my coverage on this console you can tell I've been on board since launch. Give us your impression after checking out the video below.
