Witcher 3 REDkit Will Bring Mod Support To The Title On PC

The Witcher 3 is easily the magnum opus of CDProjektRed, and it deserves that title. After many years of waiting, the developers have finally given official mod support to the PC community and it is coming soon!

Modding has always been an integral part of the PC gaming experience, particularly with single-player games. With the arrival of REDkit for Witcher 3, fans will be able to do mods with greater ease for the game and enhance their experience.

Mark your calendars — The Witcher 3 REDkit, an extensive mod editor based on the game’s engine, releases on May 21st, 2024! ⚙

It will be available for free for everyone who owns The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt on PC.

Players can now wishlist the editor on Steam, GOG, and Epic Games, with a release date of May 21st. With only a couple of weeks to wait, fans are excited at the opportunity to improve their already amazing experience of the title.

While console mod support has not been addressed, it will remain to be seen if CDPR adds the feature to consoles as well, particularly the PS5 and Xbox Series versions of the game which recently got improved versions of the game from their PS4 and Xbox One counterparts.
