Growing up I thought I was the only person who thought Donkey Kong Country was a great game. All the "cool kids" were talking about Playstation or Mortal Kombat and here I am playing a game where a Monkey jumps on crocodiles. Apparently, I was too young to realize how much of a massive success the franchise was! If you would've told me back then Donkey Kong Country was the second highest selling game on SNES (Super Mario World was first and came bundled with the system) I would've never believed you.
Facts like that and repetitive waves of nostalgia made me absolutely love this latest video by The Game Theorists. If you're a fan of Rare and Donkey Kong, check this video out!
