Being a member of the Time Patrol isn't a walk in the park, as Trunks explains in the latest Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 trailer. In the first game, your task was to take place in some of Dragonball Z's most iconic events. In the second, you're officially a member of the Time Patrol and preventing others from going and changing the timeline.
The bottom line is you'll be playing a lot of "what if" scenarios which is all I ever wanted to do in the DBZ universe. I really enjoyed the first game, although I thought the game was unfairly balanced towards Buu and Saiyan. I get it's canon that they should be stronger, but in terms of PvP it was frustrating to not even come close to matching them playing as a Namekian.
I saw in the new one you can become a giant Namekian so I'm hoping this balances things out! Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 releases October 28th...but the free beta weekend is going on right now on PS4!
