MONSTER HUNTER WORLD Just Passed 8 Million Copies Sold 

It has been approximately six months since Capcom released Monster Hunter: World for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Now, the studio was proud to announce that the game just passed 8 million copies sold before its upcoming release on the PC. 

Capcom announced that Monster Hunter: World's physical and digital sales hit 8.3 million units during the last fiscal quarter, which brought an increase of 46.5% on the company's net sales year-over-year. 

Capcom said in a statement that, "in this business, the phenomenal success of Monster Hunter: World from the previous fiscal year continued, with the title gaining further popularity through the expansion of its user base. In scoring a worldwide smash hit, the series solidified its position as an international brand and strengthened our base of IP."

Looking forward, Capcom is preparing for the highly-anticipated release of the game for the PC, which is slated to launch on August 9. Moreover, the studio also revealed the specs for the PC version of the game as detailed here

Currently, pre-orders for the PC are available on Steam and players who will avail of it will receive the Origin Armor Set and the Fair Wind Charm as bonuses.
