While there is always a concern with movie adaptations of video games, the trailer for the Uncharted movie can put some of that initial concern to rest! As one of the most popular game series to come to PlayStation, it’s no wonder that Sony chose this title to be made into a movie and it seems like they are focused on getting it done right this time.
Along with plenty of the action, where we got to see Tom Holland and Mark Whalberg play out a few scenes, we also got the release date. The official Uncharted movie is set to hit theaters on February 18, 2022. That’s when we get to watch as “Fortune Favors the Bold.”
Of course, it wouldn’t be a proper video game adaptation movie trailer without some form of news on the latest game in the series as well. So, the trailer ends with a poster revealing that the Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection is coming to PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam and Epic Games in early 2022 as well. While that isn’t an official release date, we are sure to hear more about this collection as the movie’s release date comes up.
