Portland Carpenter Tiny Shed Set To Invade Seattle For PAX West 2024

Starting Friday, August 30, the Pacific Northwest's finest makers, gamers, and nerds will descend upon Seattle for the highly anticipated PAX West 2024. This annual gaming extravaganza, running through Monday, September 2, is expected to attract a staggering crowd of over 100,000 enthusiastic attendees.

Since its inception in 2004, PAX West has become a mecca for gaming culture, drawing fans and industry professionals alike to celebrate all things gaming. Attendees can look forward to thought-provoking panels, a sprawling expo hall packed with the latest and greatest from top publishers and studios, exciting game demos, live musical performances, intense tournaments, and a vibrant community atmosphere that makes PAX West an event like no other.

Representing Portland with pride, local artist and master carpenter Jordan Saia will be showcasing his meticulously crafted gaming tables at the event. Each table is a work of art, built entirely by hand in his off-grid woodshop nestled in the scenic hills of Corbett, Oregon. Powered by solar energy and driven by a passion for sustainability, Saia’s small business, Tiny Shed, pays homage to the humble beginnings of every piece he creates.

I started building gaming tables—customized for DnD and other tabletop games—because that’s really my first love: connecting with people over story and gathering together to create fantasy. It’s an honor to exhibit at the largest gaming convention in the country and to be in community with so many other gamers.
— Jordan Saia Owner of Tiny Shed

Saia will be in good company at PAX West, joining thousands of other exhibitors spanning every corner of the gaming world—from cutting-edge consoles and tabletop games to immersive VR experiences.
