Fallout fans take note, Modiphius Entertainment has announced the release of the official tabletop roleplaying game for Bethesda’s post-apocalyptic world. Fallout: The Tabletop Roleplaying Game is out, and the starter set is available for purchase. Fallout: The Tabletop Roleplaying Game works off the 2d20 System, though everything you need to get started, including the dice can be picked up with the starter kit. It also comes with a 60-page quest book, and some pre-generated characters to get you started or to help out a player or two stuck for ideas on starting a new system.
The game takes place in the setting that Fallout fans will be very familiar with, though other players should be easily enough talked round to. Nuclear annihilation consumed the world in 2077, and what remains of society clings on in the blasted wreckage. Life in the Wasteland is not restricted to humans though, the massive supermutants, the zombie-like ghouls, and even pre-war robots exist. They’re not just there to be encountered either, if you want to play a stray kitchen robot then there’s plenty of opportunity for that.
Fallout: The Tabletop Roleplaying Game is available to purchase in both the US and the UK through Modiphius Entertainment’s respective webstores.
