It’s no secret that Rainbow Six: Siege has grown since its humble launch to its now eSports bonafide hit status. With it, comes its large fanbase of eager gamers ready to take on as much competition as possible. Well, now the list of enemies has grown as Ubisoft announced yesterday at their Ubisoft Forward E3 event that crossplay and cross-progression between consoles are being implemented. There have been over 70 million gamers who’ve played Siege since its launch, 5 years ago so this is a huge step in the right direction to give all of their players the best experience possible.

Siege will launch on Stadia on June 30th and from then on, Stadia, PC, and Luna players will be able to play each other plus progress their career throughout the 3. That’s not all though, as in Q1 2022 Xbox and PlayStation players will also be given these features. These new features are sure to be a game-changer as if you’re like me, you may own Siege on multiple platforms. It can be tricky deciding which one to progress further on so this definitely helps to lessen the headache.

There are also a bunch of new fixes coming to the game in its new North Star update which you can view below.

Rainbow Six: Siege is available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, Google Stadia, and Amazon Luna, and is included in the Ubisoft+ subscription.
