Retro Style FPS DREAD TEMPLAR Out Now

For fans of classic FPS shooters, some fantastic news just came down the pipe. Fulqrum Publishing and solo developer T19 Games have just released their retro-style FPS Dread Templar. Dread Templar was made over the course of three years and effortlessly works as a love letter to the classic shooters of the 90s, but with a modern twist and gameplay depth on par with contemporary FPS titles.

In Dread Templar, players will travel on a journey of revenge, they will battle through hordes of demonic enemies in various environments, including the depths of hell and frozen pirate ships. The retro pixel art style is reminiscent of 90s shooters, with players able to choose from 5 different filters to give the game a new look.

Dread Templar features an arsenal of weapons and powers that players can use to become the ultimate demon hunter. With over 100 upgrades available, players can experiment with different playstyles to find the perfect fit for them.

The gameplay in Dread Templar is fast-paced and brutal, with players using FPS staples such as dashing and bullet time to conquer enemies. Players will also fight more than 20 enemy types and 9 bosses, using over 10 weapons including swords, firearms, and infernal weapons. The game has 25 levels to explore, with 19 side areas, 170 secrets, and 20 puzzles to solve, all of which reward players with epic items. With the power of the Dread Force, players can become the ultimate demon hunter and conquer the depths of hell and beyond.
