Retrograde Arena was released by Freemergency and Another Indie on the Nintendo Switch eShop on June 5, 2021, and it is free! If you want to see the game, check out the video at the bottom.
The game is an arcade-style multiplayer game, featuring a stylish physics-based twin stick brawler. In this game, the weapons don't kill, but the environment does. Guns are not just for attacking, they are for speed, dodging, sharp corners, and brutal counterattacks as well. Weapon recoil, bouncing beams, and environmental awareness make Retrograde Arena an entirely new competitive multiplayer experience.
There are three Game Modes for different skill types:
Last Man Standing for the quickest fingers and deadliest shot.
King’s Crown for tactical ambush and intelligent skirmisher.
SuperSizer for a new and intriguing game based around an insurmountable enemy.
Use traditional weapons like firearms to slam enemies to their doom! Or reflect enemy attacks back at them with the Mirror. It looked like a lightsaber to me. You can even use the Mirror to create a deadly black hole with the Imploder.
There are some DLC options for those looking to add some more game modes, maps, and customization options as well. The game is free to download, so I will have to give it a try. Will you?
