For those unaware, Kirby and the Forgotten Land created quite a positive splash when it was released on March 25th. We had the chance to review the game and it landed an impressive 9.5/10. And even though it may offer a bunch of end-game content, there’s always room for more Kirby!
If you’re like me and you want a bit more Kirby in your life, the folks at Bandai Collectibles have you covered! They offer a plethora of very unique officially licensed Kirby collectibles for fans to purchase. Many of these are available now but a few others are up to pre-order with their release date coming up on April 24th!
When it comes to my impressions from the experience I had with these products, I really enjoyed the uniqueness and culture that they added to my house. The packages alone on a bunch of these are absolutely gorgeous and solely feature Japanese wording. Typically, items like these aren’t that easy to come by in the states unless you know of a specific local store or go to conventions, so it’s pretty cool that you can pick them up extremely easily.
Perhaps my favorite product is the stackable Kirby figurines. They’re just so cute and tiny. It’s fun to set them around the house in odd places for a laugh when you’re not stacking them. The stacking itself is definitely an art that needs to be mastered. The above photo is as far as I could get which is pretty sad on my end if I’m going to be honest.
As someone who has always enjoyed a good puzzle to pass the time, the available jigsaw puzzles are beautiful and relaxing to piece together. My personal favorite was the Bon Voyage one as it looks like a suitcase covered in stickers from your travels. An included item with the puzzles which I was not expecting was glue so that you could display it upon completion.
The most intriguing items of the bunch though were definitely the acrylic dioramas. The way they look is so interesting because of the utilization of clear plastic as well as the transparentness of the areas that have color. Sitting them with a light source behind brings quite a show as the colors dance through them.
They also offer a bit of action as well. The Whispy Woods one rocks back and forth, the Swing, well, swings, and the See-Saw operates just as one would in real life. Putting them together is fun for sure but can require a bit of matching to the picture included since there are no English instructions included.
All in all, these items are incredibly enjoyable to play with, and feel like they’re really good quality. All of the ones I was sent can be picked up from Amazon, so check them out below!
