John Linneman, a member of the Digital Foundry team is currently at GamesCom and got the opportunity to play STALKER 2, and he has confirmed that the version he played did have 60FPS on the Xbox Series X. This is a welcome change after the last major Xbox Series title this year, Hellblade 2, was capped at 30FPS even on the Series X.
The game is set for a November 20th release date on Xbox Series consoles and PC. Hearing fresh news about the post-apocalypse open-world RPG having 60FPS is definitely going to perk up a lot of fans who were previously worried about performance beind held back.
