Street Racing Returns As NEED FOR SPEED UNBOUND Announces A Release Date

Roaring engines, cheap talk, the thrill of the race, and the rush of the chase are back! EA and Criterion Games announced a new chapter in the Need For Speed franchise is about to release, bringing the series back. Speed freaks and thrill seekers can look forward to Need For Speed Unbound, where they can get back in the driver seat and prepare to dive into their own street racing fantasy as they outsmart cops and prove they have what it takes to win The Grand, Lakeshore’s ultimate street racing challenge!

This title of the series challenges the conventions of the racing genre and ups the ante by introducing true consequences with impactful risk and reward for every race, decision, and side bet made. Players uncover the world of Lakeshore when a robbery at a family auto shop tears two friends apart and sets a rookie racer on a journey to win the ultimate street race and reclaim the priceless car that was stolen from them.

Need For Speed Unbound is set to release both physically and digitally on December 2nd for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, Origin, and the EA app. The game is available for pre-order now on all platforms and those who pre-order the game will receive an exclusive pack of Unbound content, including a driving effects pack, decals, license plate, banner artwork, stickers, and $150,000 Bank in their wallet when they first join multiplayer and more.

On top of that, they are offering a Palace Edition of the game which is a deluxe edition created in partnership with Palace Skateboards, which will offer players exclusive content, including four stunning custom cars, a clothing pack, driving effect, decals, and license plate, character pose, and banner artwork.

Those with an EA Play account will also get early with early access to the game with a 10-hour trial starting November 29th, and enjoy exclusive recurring in-game benefits. Additionally, EA Play Pro members on PC will enjoy unlimited access to the Need for Speed Unbound Palace Edition starting November 29th, three days before the game officially launches!
