Take Back Philadelphia in New HOMEFRONT: THE REVOLUTION Trailer

Remember Homefront? Yeah? That game that had a huge marketing campaign but for some reason not many people played it? I do! It was actually a pretty fun shooter. Not revolutionary in any way, but a solid near-future sci-fi FPS game. I distinctly remember them making really cool live action teasers that were made like found footage pieces from around the country. One was even shot in my smoggy home town of Salt Lake City, which I thought was pretty damn cool. Well, now Deep Silver are back with a new entry entitled Homefront: The Revolution. It takes place four years after the North Korean occupation of the United States that happened in the first game. The story takes place in Philly this time around, as you will play a member of the budding resistance against the Korean occupiers.

Homefront: The Revolution will be releasing on PS4, Xbox One, and PC on May 17th. An Xbox One exclusive closed beta kicks off next month, and registration is open now!

The new trailer for Homefront: The Revolution places viewers in a war zone of Philadelphia 2029, where residents are in the fourth year of the hostile KPA occupation. Citizens are under close scrutiny in the wasteland of the Yellow Zone, and must blend in until seizing the perfect moment to strike.
