It's crazy to think that it has been two decades since the first time we flicked the power switches on the sides of our Gameboys, joining an adventure that would change Nintendo forever! As is with most gamers from my generation, Pokémon is one of the titles that really got me hooked on gaming. From surviving family road trips, to making sure I caught every single episode of the anime in the morning, I was a Pokémon fanatic. While my addiction to the games cut off after the Silver Version, my love for the franchise has never faded. Now, to commemorate one of gaming's most iconic and influential properties, Nintendo is kicking off its year of celebrating Ash, Pikachu, and all of our favorite friends in the Pokémon universe!
