Windfolk is the latest title coming out of the PlayStation Talents initiative and was developed by Fractal Fall. It’s a third-person aerial shooter taking place in the far off world of Eurian. Fighting off the ruthless group known as the Coalition, you’ll play as Esen a once victim of their vicious experiments. Esen and the Resistance will do whatever it takes to stop them and take revenge. Windfolk was also awarded “Best Use of PlayStation Platforms at the IV PlayStation Talents Awards.

I’m very intrigued by Windfolk because of its gameplay style. We’ve seen things similar to this in games of the past but this hasn’t really been done in the last few years. I’m always a fan of developers revitalizing old game styles and bringing them into the current generation of gaming. It’s also a really pretty looking game with a protagonist who brings a unique story with them.
