Tenacious D has blessed us with their lovely vocals and strings with their latest single “Video Games”. The official music video is beautifully sung by Jack Black and wonderfully played by Kyle Gass in a throwback claymation-style animation. The music video is hysterical and name-drops a ton of major AAA hits that have been released over the years. Check it out for yourself!
Jack Black has known to be an avid gamer, even creating his own YouTube channel (semi-dedicated to gaming, maybe?) called JablinskiGames. The video shows homage to numerous AAA titles and popular franchises that have been around throughout the singer's lifetime. He even stated in a recent interview for the Super Mario Bros. Movie that he would like to see a Red Dead Redemption movie come out of Hollywood next. With the rate of videogame adaptations picking up speed, it is likely that a huge AAA title from Rockstar will surely get the Silver Screen treatment in due time.
