It was about a month ago that Playmind announced that The Inner Friend will be launching on console as they received the Best In Play award at GDC 2019, but they didn’t give us a launch date nor any hint towards when to expect it. Now we have more of an idea of when to expect this award winning horror title on both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
This trailer doesn’t show us exactly when it will launch, but we now know that we will be getting it sometime this Summer. While this game gives a surreal and symbolic exploration of overcoming childhood drama, the console editions includes a new epilogue that shares more about the game's mysterious, subconscious world.
Are you ready to face the craziness within the fears of a child? If so, you can get your hands on The Inner Friend on Steam anytime, but those on console will have to wait for the summer. Until then, enjoy their official console trailer below.
