Working in collaboration with hit cartoon animator Mashed and musical sensation The Living Tombstone, Modus Games released a spooky animated music video (AMV). It showcases the dangers within We Create Stuff’s upcoming game In Sound Mind while being set to the haunting theme song of psychiatrist Desmond Wales; the game’s protagonist.
Along with the release of this AMV, they have unfortunately also announced a delay in the release date. While it was originally announced for an August release date, players will have to wait until September 28th to face these fears on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series. They also plan to have a Nintendo Switch version released at a later date.
While getting a new release date is a bit of an upset, this AMV is actually really interesting. It features a lot of scenes from the demo, which is still available on the Steam page for those who haven’t put together their own first impression yet. I do hope to see more games take this AMV approach in the future because it was an interesting change from what we are used to seeing from developers.
