Where were you when you first knocked out Glass Joe? Did you spend entire Saturdays playing Duck Tales or perhaps some Bionic Commando? What about all those times you got the flashing screen that was only remedied by the (totally bullshit) practice of blowing onto the cartridge before giving it another try?
With such limited technology in those times, these games have cemented their places in our memories forever and have shaped the gamers we are to this very day. There’s also a chance that you are young enough to have a very intelligent and advanced appreciation for the classic music of video games past even though they don’t necessarily take you on a nostalgia trip. For that, I salute you!
According to various sources, Final Fantasy 3 either actually had a release on the NES...or it didn't. Maybe you can explain. The theme song makes this list either way because it is amazing.
