TROPICO 6 Gets An Official Console Release Date!

Tropico 6 has been available on PC since March of this year where I first got to play and review it. During E3 2019 I also had the chance to go hands on with the upcoming console build of the game. I walked away impressed with how well the games controls migrated to consoles and found it to be a more enjoyable way to experience the game for myself. Sadly no release date had been given for the upcoming console versions until today. Kalypso Media has finally revealed that the console launch of Tropico 6 is scheduled for September 27 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One!

For all you Xbox One players out there though, Tropico 6 is available now as part of the Xbox Games Preview program. This is an in progress build of the game so expect some glitches and crashes during gameplay. I have been messing around with this version for a few days now and have found that it works well on the Xbox One X. I have yet to try it out on the base Xbox One model or Xbox One S but I can’t wait to see how it holds up!
