One Blade Runner fan's passion project could soon be enjoyed by the VR community! Blade Runner 9732 is a VR experience crafted with Unity that will allow users to freely navigate the apartment of Rick Deckard as seen in the film. The experience is not out yet, as creator Quentin Lengel says he wants to tweak the bathroom and try the experience out on a newer development kit before releasing it, but you can check out a video of it below!
Let's hope this project lives long enough to see a demo! As Engadget points out, Disney announced a VR project earlier last year that would tie into Blade Runner 2049. I wouldn't be surprised if they try to lay down the hammer on this one to prevent confusion between the two things.
