We've gone too far. Kotaku got their hands on an IKEA VR experience, and while it's super ridiculous, it's also kind of cool. You don't get the full experience of browsing the entire store, but rather find yourself in one section free to customize and change colors of furniture sets to your heart's desire.
That's not really the cool part. The cool part (and potentially awesome perk you wouldn't think about in VR) is the ability to change your height! Making yourself really tall or child size means a lot more when you actually have to reach for things!
All and all it's so dumb it's cool. If this eventually leads to online shopping from home I'm for it!
