One of the rare titles to have been a popular game prior to its release on a major platform and previously only available directly on the Oculus has finally made its way onto Steam and giving more players the opportunity to experience the horror-comedy adventure it holds. This title is Hello Puppets! by Otherworld Interactive and it is thanks to their partnership with tinyBuild that we now have it on Steam. While many may already know of this games intriguing plot theory and actual ending due to the popular coverage of it by MatPat from Game Theorists on YouTube, it still seems like a game that holds a memorable journey that would be worth going on.
If you haven’t heard of this game yet, the story itself is both silly and scary simultaneously. Basically, after a bad Sesame Street knock-off called “Mortimer’s Handeemen” was canceled and forgotten, the puppets from the show have come to life and want to bring the show back at all costs. Using you, they will exact their pure evil plans to get their show back on the air. Your only chance of escape is the somewhat-less-evil Scout. Work with Scout to escape the evil Handeemen puppets before it’s too late!
The launch trailer above should be able to show you just exactly what this game has in store for you if you should choose to brave the abandoned kids show set rooms. Now let’s just hope that this game ends up getting a PSVR release so those without a powerful enough PC to play VR will get to venture through this comedic horror game as well.
