Astroneer, the space exploration game from System Era Softworks, is out now for the Nintendo Switch. Astroneer is a sandbox adventure game that allows players to embark on exciting missions across the galaxy where they can build bases, design vehicles, and collaborate with friends to create their own stories in an ever-expanding world.
The Nintendo Switch version of the game comes with the 40+ content updates that have been released for Astroneer since its launch, including drop-in cooperative play that supports up to four players. This new release also comes alongside a brand-new update for the game: the Xenobiology content pack. This update adds new biological lifeforms for players to interact with, as well as a brand new mission that will take players across the solar system with their new alien friends.
Astroneer is available now for the Nintendo Switch for $29.99 USD, and early adopters on the platform will unlock a special “Power” bundle that includes cosmetic customization options for the player character. The Xenobiology content is available for all owners of the game across Nintendo Switch, Xbox consoles, PlayStation 4, and PC.
