Blizzard Would Love To Have DIABLO In SUPER SMASH BROS. ULTIMATE

It is no secret anymore that Diablo III Eternal Collection will be heading to the Nintendo Switch soon after months of rumors and speculation. Now, Blizzard has spoken out and revealed that they are interested at the possibility of featuring some of Diablo’s characters to Nintendo’s Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Speaking to Game Informer’s Imran Khan, Blizzard senior producer Pete Stilwell was asked about which character he would like to see in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. The dev replied saying, “personally, yeah, I’d love to have Diablo. That to me is the immediate one. Then if we had over time, eventually the heroes, go through all of them…or you could go really awesome and only have Deckard Cain.”

Khan then turned the tables and asked the developer on which Nintendo character he would like to see in a Blizzard game, Stilwell, together with associate producer Matt Cederquist mentioned that “Bowser would be a sweet dungeon boss,” and “Pig Ganon would be cool.”

Given Blizzard’s return to a Nintendo console after fifteen years, it would certainly be cool to see characters from both Nintendo and Blizzard crossing over to their respective games. Which Diablo character would you like to see in Super Smash Bros.? Share your picks in the comments below.
