We finally get to see the boss that Code Vein has shown off the longest in action! Bandai Namco has recently released the boss trailer for The Butterfly of Delirium and she looks to be quite difficult. With the launch date of September 27th coming up rapidly, we will be seeing more of these bosses before we get to face them on Steam, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One ourselves.
This isn’t the first boss we have seen so far either. Other than the few we met in the network test, where I got my first hands on experience, they have shown us the Successor of the Ribcage boss and Invading Executioner as well so far. This time, the boss hides a second head within her wings which would reveal monstrous second set of jaws, capable of attacking players at any moment. She is also able to strike from a distance by emitting deadly spores for damaging area-of-effect attacks. It’s easy to say that The Butterfly of Delirium is going to be a difficult fight!
Along with this boss trailer reveal, Bandai Namco has announced that they will be hosting a console-exclusive demo for Code Vein on September 3rd. It is planned to feature many of the same things we saw in the network test, including the beginning of the story line and diving down into The Depths. If you haven’t had a chance to experience this game yet, here’s your chance to see what they have in store for us.
For now, check out the new boss trailer and start preparing yourself for tough fights, well-timed moments, and all around intense action gameplay:
