CD Projekt Red recently announced the PlayStation 4 version of Cyberpunk 2077 is once again available for purchase on the PS Store.

Anyone who purchases the PS4 version can also play the game on PS5 via backward compatibility. Additionally, a free PS5 upgrade for the game will be coming in the second half of 2021 and will be available for all owners of the PS4 version of Cyberpunk 2077 whether it was the digital or disc version. The upgrade will take full advantage of the PS5’s powerful hardware.

This ends the six-month saga of Cyberpunk 2077’s initial delisting from the PS store. The game was reportedly unplayable in many stages and did not live up to the massive hype the led to its release. CD Projekt Red has released numerous updates to bring the game into a more playable state, but the developer is promising more updates throughout the year.

CD Projekt Red has pledged to make Cyberpunk 2077 the game everyone expected it to be leading up to the next-gen version patch. Until then, check out our initial review of the game. Cyberpunk 2077 may be worth another look down the road as it continues to improve.
