Delay For THYMESIA Comes As Good News For Souls Fans

Typically, when a game’s release date gets delayed, it is based on some issues or improvements the game needs prior to release, but that’s not the case for Thymesia. In fact, OverBorder Studio and Team17 are excited to announce that instead of the originally announced December release exclusively on Steam, they are going to be releasing their game in 2022 for PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S!

Including next-generation consoles in the release for a Souls-like game is definitely the best way to broaden the number of players it will reach. Now, more players will be able to explore the hauntingly beautiful world as Corvus, the mysterious half-human, half-raven protagonist. They will have to fight through plague-ridden combat as they piece together his lost memories in an attempt to save himself and the kingdom he once called home.

For those that were looking forward to playing Thymesia on Steam anyways, this delay falls a bit on the upsetting side of things. But at least we get another gameplay trailer and look forward to a wider player base to collaborate ideas and fighting styles with.
