Valve is really pulling out all the stops to build the hype for Half-Life: Alyx before its March release. From now until the release of Half-Life: Alyx all previous entries in the Half-Life franchise are available to play for free! Unfortunately, this promotion isn’t giving away the games permanently but you can still rake in a ton of Half-Lifey goodness over the next 2 months. The promotion includes Half-Life, Half-Life: Blue Shift, Half-Life: Opposing Forces, Half-Life: Source, Half-Life 2, Half-Life 2: Episode 1, and Half-Life 2: Episode 2. If you check out the games on Steam you might be confused as to why they still have a price listing, but clicking on them will reveal the free play installer. Half-Life: Alyx is a prequel to Half-Life 2 and will be a VR only experience when it launches this coming March.
