New Leak Once Again Suggests That The METROID PRIME Trilogy Is Coming To Switch

Well, it looks like the rumor of the Metroid Prime Trilogy coming to the Nintendo Switch has gained even more legitimacy as a new listing for the game has been spotted on the Best Buy website. Interestingly enough one of the latest rumors for the title also came from Best Buy last year when new SKUs were revealed for Metroid Prime Trilogy, Persona 5S, and Legend of Zelda A Link To The Past. Of course, none of these games has seen the light of day or gotten any shred of confirmation. This latest leak though came from an actual website listing instead of internal documentation and was visible to everyone on the web.

The listing has since been pulled down but can still be found on a Google search! No real information has been given about the port by Nintendo or the leaked listing but I am thinking g it is safe to assume the game will utilize the Switch’s gyro controls to bring the motion aiming back from the Wii release. For owners of a Switch Lite, the port becomes a little harder to understand. Prime 1 and 2 had traditional controls originally but Prime 3 was solely built around motion aiming and motion controls. Gyro aiming can still be achieved for the game but what about the other motion controls? It will be interesting to see if the Metroid Prime Trilogy does end up coming to the Switch! As with all rumors, take any and all information with a grain of salt until official confirmation can be given.
