As a surprise to anticipating players awaiting the upcoming release of Ghostwire: Tokyo from Bethesda Softworks and Tango Gameworks, they have released a free visual novel today! Titled Ghostwire: Tokyo - Prelude, this free visual novel gives an introduction to the characters and environment that the final game will take place in. There are also a few encounters with the enemies we can expect as well!
Players will join the mysterious KK and his team of supernatural detectives as they investigate an unusual disappearance. However, along their journey, they’ll stumble upon something even more sinister. Players can choose different interactions with KK’s associates to piece together their stories.
This visual novel does not represent the gameplay of the final title, of course. Ghostwire: Tokyo is an action-adventure game that challenges players to master the powerful arts of Ethereal Weaving while working to defeat the menacing Hannya and his followers, the Visitors, who have invaded Tokyo.
Ghostwire: Tokyo - Prelude is free now on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. It will be released for free on PC via Steam and Epic Games Store starting March 8th.
