The In-Person E3 Expo Returns In 2023!

The legendary gaming industry event, E3, returns to the Los Angeles Convention Center for a four-day expo from Tuesday, June 13 through Friday, June 16, 2023. There will also be partnered digital events and showcases that will precede the show starting June 11, 2023. It seems that their closure has brought some clarity to the organizers because they are no longer mixing business with pleasure. Here’s how it will be held:

E3 Business Days will take place June 13th - 15th. These days will be reserved exclusively for registered industry personnel to network in-person, hold professional meetings, and connect with licensors and distributors. Throughout the show, certain halls and spaces will be reserved for registered game industry professionals, including developers, publishers, distributors, and the gaming media.

The general public is welcome for E3 Gamer Days on June 15th and 16th. When consumers join the celebration on June 15, spectacular booths and a dedicated theater offering deep-dive looks at highly anticipated titles await.

This more properly thought out schedule is likely thanks to the fact that E3 is being operated by ReedPop, the group behind events such as PAX, EGX, New York Comic-Con, Star Wars Celebration, and more.

“E3 is one of the global gaming industry’s few opportunities to come together, unite as one loud voice, and show the world what it is creating,” said ReedPop VP of Gaming Kyle Marsden-Kish. “Our vision is to reunite the industry by re-establishing the traditional E3 week, bring back that spark, and restore E3's role as a truly magical global showcase event for game creators and consumers.”

Now that E3 is starting to look more thought out, we hope to see brands like Sony return to the event to bring this expo back to the glorious gaming news bombshell that it used to be. What do you think about the structure for E3’s grand return next year?
