The World Of SCORN Comes Alive In Atmospheric Trailer

Ebb Software and Microsoft have shared the first gameplay trailer for Scorn, the big first-person horror game that’s in development for Xbox Series X and Windows PC.

There’s not too much action going on in it. It’s definitely more focused on the environment, which is chilling. Even the weapons evoke a sense of horror as the protagonist separates whatever alien version of the action and trigger that exists from the different barrel and weapon attachments. The sounds are squelchy and utterly grotesque.

This nightmarish universe is full of mystery. It’s a quiet trailer that reminds me of the movie Prometheus in its design and tone.

Ebb Software describes the player experience as:

Isolated and lost inside this dream-like world, you will explore different interconnected regions in a non-linear fashion. Every location contains its own theme, puzzles, and characters that are integral in creating a cohesive world.

As with other games built with the Xbox Series X|S in mind, Scorn should feature fast loading, high-def visuals, and responsive gameplay with 120FPS.

Scorn will be available on Game Pass from launch, so get ready for some immersive horror when this first-person game releases later in the next-gen lifecycle. And stay tuned to GameTyrant for more of the latest in gaming news!
