Devolver Digital has announced Disc Room, a top-down puzzle and action game from Kitty Calis and Jan Willem Nijman—who worked on Minit—as well as Terri Vellmann and Doseone—developers from High Hell and other games.
Here’s the story so far:
The year is 2089 and a giant disc has appeared in orbit of Jupiter. Step into the oversized space suit of a brave scientist and explore this sprawling intergalactic slaughterhouse. And remember: what kills you only makes you stronger.
The collaboration from indie developers is coming sometime in 2020, so prepare yourself for bloody carnage. The scientist will undoubtedly die again and again. It will be a high price to pay for knowledge, but maybe there are answers out there.
