We Finally Have Details On FUNKO's Upcoming AAA Title!

Just a few months ago we learned that Funko partnered with developers 10:10 Games in order to create an official AAA-licensed title for the collectibles franchise. Now, we have a few more details, which include the name of the game, Funko Fusion. They also announced that their first co-production will feature a collaboration with premier launch partner NBCUniversal!

Thanks to their collaboration, players will be able to immerse themselves in a mash-up world of playable characters, locations, and more, inspired by some of NBCUniversal’s biggest blockbuster movies and TV shows. This leaves room for a lot of possible fandoms to be fused into a collective experience.

“Fans can expect an unparalleled gaming experience with characters from their favorite cult classic films and TV series,” said Chief Executive Officer at Funko, Andrew Perlmutter. “Funko is known for exceptional in-person and digital experiences that excite and fully engage fans, and ‘Funko Fusion’ will be no exception. We’re building something with Funatics in mind, Easter eggs and all.”

As for the players, they will be able to play as characters that can be played co-operatively with up to four players online or in a single-player mode. That is when Funko Fusion releases to PC and next-generation consoles. While it would have been nice to get a proper trailer, a list of the genres, or even a few new screenshots, it is nice to know more about this upcoming title!
