The last time we were talking about Biomutant, we were sharing the developer update from Experiment 101 that promised the team was still working on the game and was trying to make it the best possible experience for players.

Now, four months later, we’ve got almost ten minutes of gameplay footage from the publisher THQ Nordic and it looks like Experiment 101 has been hard at work.

Fans have been waiting to see what the game would look like since there has been radio silence for so long, and there is a lot to take in. Monstrous creatures roaming through vast landscapes. Frenetic melee combat mixed with big guns. Big buildings, exotic creatures and mounts. This trailer is absolutely jam-packed with visual reveals.

Submarines, airships, mechs. It’s like a developer just kept adding stuff and the rest of the team said okay. It’s overwhelming, which is maybe what Experiment 101 was going for after months of speculation and after the delayed release.

What’s your first impression? It’s not a AAA title, but there are some exciting things here, and I think that a lot of players might be surprised by what Biomutant has to offer.
