Focus Entertainment has sunk its teeth into the futuristic Russian-based first-person action RPG Atomic Heart. It is now confirmed that Focus Entertainment will be the standing publisher for the Mundfish developed title. Focus Entertainment has had a steady record of publishing great titles in recent years so they have a keen eye for great games.
As we all await the retro-futuristic adventure to be released, we have been given a slight update on its launch window. Focus Entertainment has revealed via Twitter that we can expect to see Atomic Heart very soon, stating “...initially planned for 2022, the hectic and explosive Action-RPG is set to release this winter.” hinting at an early 2023 launch date.
Mundfish has graciously released a new trailer for the game via Gamescom 2022, showcasing the combat without restraints. The video shows off weapon variety, enemy types, and powerful abilities very reminiscent of the BioShock series. Atomic Heart is currently slated for an early 2023 launch on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Xbox Game Pass, and PC via Steam.
