If you skipped work today to play some Overwatch, you're s*** out of luck currently. As of 9:00 am EST, Blizzard is still down after suffering a massive DDOS attack which has blocked access to many of its games.
We are currently monitoring a DDOS attack against network providers which is affecting latency/connections to our games.

Right now it's not clear what all games are affected, but reports have shown Overwatch, WoW, and Hearthstone have all had connection issues across Europe and the U.S. It also appears that Blizzard's site and forums are having issues as well. I just tried to get on the Battle.net website and it took a solid 3 minutes for me to reach the homepage and I wasn't able to do much else.
Of course, this has fans concerned for the upcoming release of World of Warcraft: Legion which is set to release next week. Let's hope that launch goes more smoothly than today.
