Here's a welcome surprise! THQ Nordic has announced a remaster of the original Darksiders is coming to all consoles November 22nd, and the PC version will drop November 29th. Darksiders Warmastered will update the game for a modern era with the following features...
- Native 1080p resolution for consoles
- 4k support for PC and Playstation®4 Pro
- Doubled all texture resolutions
- Rendering improvements and rework
- 60 FPS gameplay (PS4, Xbox One, PC, 30 for WiiU)
Back at its release in 2010 the game was regarded one of the better action hack and slash RPG's out there, and I'd like to think things haven't changed much since then. Check out the new look, and some gameplay from the original below.
