Ziggurat Interactive has just announced Deadly Dozen Reloaded, the squad-based stealth WWII shooter with modern graphics and enhanced controls! Deadly Dozen was originally developed by NFusion Interactive and released in 2001. Now they are bringing the title back with a brand new engine and elevating the game to a new level.
Players will be able to lead a squad of four behind enemy lines and will be tasked with major objectives that were crucial to the Allied efforts. There will be a total of 12 playable characters, all of which have their own unique skills and equipment proficiencies. The tactical third-person shooter will also give players the option of shooting in first-person as well.
The WWII shooter will bring back its massive maps and give players the freedom to complete objectives in any order. There are 10 “giant missions” and supposedly each mission will take over one hour to complete. For those who may not have had the chance to play Deadly Dozen, it seems as Deadly Dozen Reloaded will be the best way to experience the squad-based stealth game.
Fans of the classic title can rest assured that permadeath will not be a factor in this new remake. Initially, if a soldier died, they were dead for the entire campaign, causing players to create multiple save files. Let us know in the comments what you think of this change.
Deadly Dozen Reloaded is coming to PC via Steam and GOG on April 29, 2022. It is also coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Switch later this Summer.
