Just before E3 2021 took place, word spread that there was a Demon Slayer video game in the works, but there wasn’t any news if it would be available in the Americas. However, official news has dropped that it will be available globally with a near-simultaneous release! Sega changed the name up slightly, likely to make it a bit easier for global use, and so the game is officially called Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles. Check out the official story trailer above!
Probably the best part about this announcement is that it even includes a release date and a platform list! We can expect to see the game hit PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S on October 15th. It will feature the same voice work for both Japanese and English teams that are voicing the anime, and subtitles in English, French, Italian, German and Spanish.
If you can’t wait for the game to come out, they are already taking pre-orders for the Physical Standard version. Both Digital Deluxe and Standard versions aren’t available yet, but you can see what they will offer if you choose to wait until then.
