If tower defense meets indie pixel goodness sounds like something you're into then look no further than Dome Keeper. From the publisher, Raw Fury, and dynamic duo developers at Bippinbits comes a new entry in the independent pixel art catalog, and it looks like a damn good time.
This game began as a successful entry in the Ludum Dare Game Jam under the name Dome Romantik. Now with a new name, vastly enhanced graphics, and even more domes and monsters to work with, Dome Keeper takes the tower defense genre and splices it with resource management and mining mechanics.
Its most interesting features boast an easy-to-learn gameplay loop with systems that are straightforward enough for any newcomer to grasp easily while still offering important decisions that will impact your mining operation in major ways. Alongside these features include an array of shadowy monsters that will attempt to put a stop to your endeavors in creative and surprising ways.
Dome Keeper is set to drop this fall for PC via Steam and we can't wait to upgrade our domes and defend against the waves of monsters heading our way! Keep an eye out for more information regarding Dome Keeper and check out the announcement trailer above.
