Mafia: The Old Country is one of the most anticipated entries in the series for a while. After the mixed reception that was Mafia 3 in 2016, Hangar 13 has been hard at work on Mafia: The Old Country for a while now. 2K already has a packed year with GTA 6, Borderlands 4, and with Mafia. Borderlands 4 already has a late September release date, but Mafia is still without a release date - until now.
First spotted by videotechuk_ on Twitter, a known leaker for the 2K scene, particularly for GTA related content, made an interesting observation on the Latin America post for the games Steam Hub page. The same post can currently be found on the games official page on Steam, but the Latam one may mistakenly contain the release date - August 8th, 2025.
We do not know if the release date is set in stone yet, but Hangar 13 was supposed to have a future spotlight for Mafia: The Old Country in a few weeks, which would have been the best time to announce the release date for the title should it release this year.
