"Different" has been a good and bad word for Nintendo fans. It can mean something as (eventually) loved as Zelda: Windwaker...or it could mean something as outrageously criticized as Metroid Prime: Federation Force. So when Eiji Aonuma said the following to Kotaku, we couldn't help but wonder if this is a good thing...or a bad thing.
“something new.” Ocarina of Time was a huge leap for the Zelda series and since then Aonuma explained, “I think the base of our secret sauce has always been Ocarina of Time. But this time, the change in flavor will be like going from Japanese food to Western style food. Perhaps, players will be surprised.” “Please look forward to it, because I think we’ll be able to make ‘something new’ like Ocarina of Time was,”
What does that mean?! What's the difference between Japanese and American food?! Are there going to be hot dogs in Legend of Zelda?! Speculate below.
