FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE Still Exists And It Will Still Be Episodic

The Game that had an amazing showcase all the way back at E3 2015, Final Fantasy VII Remake, has finally been brought back to light during Sony’s latest State of Play event! The newest trailer featured tons of redesigned characters and artwork and even showcased the redesigned battle system. Needless to say the whole thing looks absolutely gorgeous. If you haven’t seen it yourself yet check it out below!

Final Fantasy VII Remake has had a pretty rough development since it was first announced back in 2015 and even had to be restarted. It’s great to see things are now moving forward and that the game might finally get into players hands soon than later! Unfortunately for those hoping to get the whole experience in one package those dreams are about to be shot. Square Enix has revealed the game will be released episodically in order to ensure that every aspect of the game make the transition and nothing will have to be cut. The reasoning is good and all but honestly I think I’d rather wait an extra year or two and get one phat complete game like the original 1997 release.

Square Enix has also revealed that more info about the game will be revealed in June, most likely during E3, so we won’t have to wait long for more info. For me I just want them to address if the game is actually an exclusive or if it will be a timed exclusive as originally revealed back in 2015. A release window of part 1 and pricing information would also be very welcomed as well as information on how saves will transfer between episodes or if each episode will just be DLC to a single title. Ok, I just want to know everything… Come on Square Enix please deliver in June!
